OUR PROGRAMS
In Dalas Family day Care, we follow the early Years Learning Framework, Being becoming and Belonging for younger children and My Time Our place Framework for school age children.

The best practice is expected in the provision of education and care services
The best interests of children and their right to learn and develop in a safe and nurturing environment is the primary consideration in all decision making at the service and is visible in the actions, interactions and daily work with children.
Children are successful, competent and capable learners
Children are active learners from birth, constructing their knowledge, meanings and understanding through their interactions, relationships and experiences. They are able to form opinions, express their ideas, collaborate with others, plan and persist in learning .
Approved Learning Framework
Being becoming and Belonging guides educators to provide young children with opportunities to maximise their potential and develop a foundation for future success in learning. It has a specific emphasis on play basis learning and recognise the importance of communication and language( including early literacy and numeracy) and social and emotional development. It is based on the vision that "All children have the best start in life to create a better future for themselves and for the nation".
My Time Our Place the framework for school age children guides educators to collaborate with children to provide play and leisure opportunities that are meaningful to children and support their well being, learning and development. It identifies school age as a time of choice and collaboration to extend life skills and develop dispositions towards citizenship.
